Minturn & Co. is a firearm estate practice serving families settling the estates of loved ones. We handle collections with the discretion, compliance, and care those moments demand.
Our work is consignment-first because it returns more to the estate, and it is fully insured from first contact through final settlement. Every collection is handled door to door, so families never have to sort, pack, or transport firearms-related property themselves.
As an FFL holder with the status needed to handle NFA items, we assume legal liability for the collection the moment it enters our care.

Full Estate Clearance
Complete door-to-door removal of everything firearms-related — guns, ammunition, reloading supplies and components, and accessories.

The firearms, ammunition, and components that cannot be sold are resolved lawfully and entirely — so nothing unsafe, and no liability, stays with the family.
Heritage
A name that endures.
Minturn & Co. carries a name with standing of its own. Robert Bowne Minturn was a 19th-century New York shipping merchant from an established family — his father before him in the same trade. His grandson was my great-grandfather, John Minturn Quicke. It is a name worth carrying forward.
